| Abstract - Neutralizing Antibodies in MS |
|
Neutralizing antibodies are commonly produced against the interferon preparations used in MS treatment although the incidence varies among the different interferons. It is thought that these neutralizing antibodies can reduce the effectiveness of treatment resulting in progression of disease. This MS Conversation will focus on issues and situations relevant to nurses and will include discussion on how neutralizing antibodies are formed, what their significance is and how they impact treatment decision. |
